You don’t need to worry about raiding the local supermarket for boxes either. As part of the service, we include a 1 cubic metre packing kit which includes very strong packing boxes and tape, delivered in advance, so you can get your packing done at your leisure. The kit includes 8 large boxes, 4 book boxes and 2 DVD boxes, tape and a marker pen.

Online Quote Help
1. Select your LOADAfter thousands of student moves, we have found that most students have up to 1 cubic metre of possessions. 1 cubic metre equals approximately 15 small to medium items or packages. This load of up to 1 cubic metre is correct for around 90% of first, second and third year Students. We call up to 1 cubic metre - the Typical Student Load.
So, for the Typical Student Load, select "Up to 1m3(Typical Student Load). No need to enter number of packages, just carry on to Packing Kit.
If you have a small number of packages, select "Small number of packages/boxes", then enter number below.
If you have move than the Typical Student Load, you have two options:
2 cubic metres - Graduate/2 Student Sharing. The longer you stay at Uni, the more you accumulate. Certainly in the third fourth years, it's normal to have the odd piece of furniture as well. Up to 2 cubic metres is also typical for two students sharing.
3 cubic metres - This is roughly equal to half a transit van load of boxes, bags, and the odd items of small furniture.
2. FREE Packing Kit
Tick the box if you would like a packing kit sent to you in advance. The packing kit is designed to pack the perfect student load. It contains up to 1 cubic metre of boxes strong professional packing boxes. The boxes are fully recylced material and are present in an attractive pink and white with plenty of space for writing contents and instructions to your removal men! The boxes are strong enough to be used year after year if kept clean and dry.
3. Insurance
Better safe than sorry. UniMove are very very careful with your possessions, but it is essential to insure your goods. Enter the total value of your possessions here. Just enter a number between 0 and 5000. This is in Pounds Sterling, £GBP. Insurance costs £5 per £1,000 value.
4. From & To
We like to keep things very simple & easy. Simply choose the country within the UK, you are moving from and then select the country you are moving to. For example if you are moving from Manchester to London, select England & England, as both cities are in England. If you are moving from London to Dublin, select, England & Southern Ireland. Later in the form, you will be asked for more precise information.
5. ROOM SERVICE!
We are professional removers, not just couriers, so we can collect from your actual room wherever you live, house, halls or private accomodation. We can also collect from the car park if you prefer.
Simply tick "car park" or "room" for each collection and delivery point. Room Service costs £25.
6. M25 London Supplement
Unfortunately we have to charge a supplement for addresses within the M25 & London. This is because the authorities, through various schemes and stealth taxes have made it extremely expensive to operate vehicles within Greater London. If your either collection or delivery is within London or the M25 motorway, please select that option.
QUICK TIPS
Maximum Weight per Box, Package or Suitcase is 20kg. Our Movers are very strong, but we have to protect their poor backs! If an item is clearly overweight there is a £10 charge.
